Payton Taylor Gilbert has Arrived!!!

Payton Taylor Finally arrived At 2:26 am on December 3rd!! After being in early somewhat active labor all day and when I say all day I mean from 6:45 am on Dec.2nd until
about 10 oclock that night when it went into full blown Labor!! I went up to L and D twice
On the 2nd and they sent me home both times saying just relax at home they would
most likely be seeing me soon! Well The second trip was made at about
8:30pm and I was sent home by 9! When we got home I took a warm bath like they told me and I just tried to relax. We decided to try and sleep and see what would happen, Well I just couldnt get to sleep the pain just kept coming and it was getting worse! Jeremy called back to L and D and they said that I could come back but there was a chance I would be sent home again. I sat and balled for about 10 minutes before Jeremy said get in the car we are going back and if they dont admit you Im going to raise hell...So we took Mackenzie back over to our neighbors and headed back to L and D! By this time contractions were like 2 minutes apart and I couldnt walk through them let alone talk through them! We got up there and they checked me and I was 4cm and 75% so they admitted me and called the midwife on call! So 11:30 midnight I was put in a Labor and Delivery room and waited for my epidural all while having to get through the contractions! Finally she came and I got the epidural and they tell you it takes about 30 minutes to kick in..I had only had it for about 15 minutes when the midwife decided to break my water at 7cm...well she broke my water and within seconds I was COMPLETE and ready to deliver!! Jeremy and I looked at eachother like ARE YOU SERIOUS right now!!! It took about 5 pushes total and Payton arrived!!! All 6 pounds and 1 ounces and 20 inches long!! Im so Happy shes finally here and Mackenzie couldnt be more excited to be a big sister!! She is always wanting to kiss her and help do whatever she can!!!

Thanksgiving!

So This Year our Thanksgiving was PERFECT!! Well almost...Mom and John flew up here for a short weekend visit...I was missing my mom and John and Kenzie was missing her mimi and pappy!! We had hopes that Miss Payton would make her appearance while they were here but she waited until the after they left to make her presence!! Our visit with Mom and John was amazing!!! We took them to all the places we could or atleast that I could get around easily being I was 39 weeks pregnant and was in a lot of pain and it was getting harder and harder to get around!! Thanksgiving was so nice mom helped show me how to make some home made dishes and then our neighbors Amber and Jared Fryed the Turkey and made some dishes to go with it and over all we had a Huge feast and Plenty of leftovers!!!

Our Halloween!!

So our halloween was COLD but fun!!! Jeremy and a good friend of ours corbin dressed up with mackenzie! Jeremy was just some 70's looking goofball and corbin was an old hippy surfer and Mackenzie was a lil witch!! We walked all over our neighborhood and in officer housing with mackenzie and took her from house to house trying to get her to say trick or treat but she got really shy and just mumbled!! I took her up to one house and the guy reemed me for not wearing a jacket and then said oh you need extra candy your eating for two!! As if I dont feel big enough he had to say that!! Thanks dude!! We had a fun overall night..At the very end some guy scared mackenzie and she high tailed it away from jeremy crying...he had to chase her down the street...Who scares a 3 year old??? She recovered after stopping by our neighbors Jared and amber and got a whole bag full of candy!!!

Finally in the home stretch...

So we really havent been up to too much just been around the base hanging out with friends, Jeremys gearing up for company football and Im ready to have this baby but I still have a good 2 1/2 months left to go! Mack is enjoying every minute she gets of beautiful weather outside and just wearing me out!! I cant believe she is almost three...seems like just yesterday I was with her in the hospital now shes saying her name and learning to count and her ABCs and just all around smart lil one!! I had my 21st birthday a couple weeks ago and it was amazing even though I couldnt have my first legal drink Jeremy and Mackenzie both made it everything that I dreamed of!! Jeremy made me breakfast and mack picked out flowers and brought them home to me and we had a fun night of going out to dinner and hanging out with friends!! Oh yea and at the begining of augst we added a puppy to our family her name is Lily...Shes kenzies best pal!!!

What We've been up too!

Well Since we've been back from our trip to texas we haven't done to much of anything! As soon as we got back Jeremy got back to work the very next day! The nice thing is we live on base and so he gets to come home during the day after PT and for lunch, makes my days at home go by much faster!! Mackenzie is doing really well I cant believe she is almost 3!! Man time has flown sooo fast!! She is talking so much and trying to say sentences and shes just such a Joy to be around!! My pregnancy is going really well Im almost 5 1/2 months along now and I can feel her activeness at night most of the time when I have settled down on the couch! For those who dont know we are expecting a girl and we have chosen the name Payton Taylor!
